Files, Images, Documents
You will want to upload images and other files such as pdf documents, so that they can be viewed and downloaded from your website.
Uploading
To upload files, login to the admin module, and make a selection of either 'filelist' or 'images'.

-
If you select 'Filelist' then files currently on the server will be displayed as icons.
-
If you select 'Images' then imagefiles currently on the server will be displayed as thumbnails (and non-image files will not be displayed).
Let's select 'Filelist' as we are going to upload a pdf file.
This shows us our base directory, which carries the same name as your account, and any subdirectories (folders) within that. You may make new subdirectories, and you may upload to any of these e.g. in the example above you can upload to either 'woodbank' or to 'uploads', and if you make extra directories then you may also upload to those.
- It doesn't matter how you organise your files and into which directory you upload them, with just one exception: if you are uploading a logo to be displayed as part of your standard layout, then put it in the base directory which carries the name of your account, in this case that would be 'woodbank'.
- To view the files already within a directory, click on the text of the name of the directory, e.g. 'woodbank' or 'uploads', and then the contents (if any) will be displayed.
- To upload a file to a directory, click on the icon to the left of the name, and a 'clickmenu' will be displayed:
Select 'Upload Files':
Browse to find your file, then click 'Upload Files'.
- You may upload several files at one time.
- You may opt to overwrite existing files of the same name (e.g. if you are updating a document).
Browsing and Deleting Files
You can manage uploaded files quite easily.
-
To view the files already within a directory, click on the text of the name of the directory, e.g. 'woodbank' or 'uploads', and then the contents of the directory (if any) will be displayed.
-
To delete or rename a file, click on the icon next to the name, and on the 'clickmenu' select 'delete' or 'rename'.
-
The contents of some filetypes may be viewed by simply clicking on the text of the name of the file.
-
If instead of selecting 'filelist' you select 'images' then you will be able to identify your images since they will be displayed as thumbnails.
