Linking Images and Files
When editing your pages you will often want to include a hyperlink to images, files, other pages, or other websites. This page tells you how to do that.

Enter the text of your page, using the standard page editor.

Highlight the text that is to carry the link - simply use your mouse to wipe over the word(s) to be linked. Alternatively you may place the cursor at the beginning of the block of text, hold down the shift key, and use the right-arrow key to mark the block of text. Take care not to include any blank space before or after your block of text.

Click the hyperlink icon:

This will offer you several different types of link:

page - if you want to link to another page on your site

file - if you want to link to a document that you have uploaded

url - to link to another website - simply type in the address

email - to create a 'mailto' link, type in the email address.

Continue and save you page in the usual way.
NB This produces links to other resources such as images and files, it does not display images on the page. To include an image in your page follow the instructions for inserting images.
